Kristy Johnson is a powerhouse vocalist and dedicated vocal instructor whose talent spans a remarkable range of musical styles. With a dynamic presence and an unmatched ability to channel the essence of any song, she has built a reputation as a sought-after performer in tribute and cover bands that celebrate a wide array of genres.  Having studied at Stephen F. Austin State University on a vocal scholarship, Kristy started with classical music and opera, which gave her a strong vocal foundation.  Whether delivering the soul-stirring emotion of an Italian opera, a classic ballad, the high-energy intensity of rock, or the fun and funky grooves of disco and pop, Kristy captivates audiences with her vocal precision and expressive artistry.  Kristy has recorded several radio jingles, and sang "I've Got Your Back" on the soundtrack from the movie "Incubus."  She has a true passion for music and loves all elements of performing. She was awarded "Best Female Vocalist" by Platinum Music Complex and the DFW Music Choice Awards.

She goes beyond vocal training, coaching students in stage presence, emotional expression, movement, microphone technique, and audience engagement to ensure they deliver unforgettable performances. Her personalized approach ensures that each student receives tailored coaching, whether they’re preparing for live performances, auditions, or simply refining their skills.
